Fossil Court is a unique community in Golden that graces the edge of the acclaimed Fossil Trace Golf Course.

The site is 2½ acres of prime real estate situated along the fifteenth fairway of the picturesque (and brand new) Fossil Trace Golf Course.  At the south end of Illinois Street, this site enjoys the quiet solitude of residential streets, views of the golf course and surrounding mountains, and the convenience of being within walking distance of historic downtown Golden.

The buildings have been carefully arranged on the site to maximize the number of residences facing the golf course, as they line a private road that winds through the neighborhood.  By utilizing a careful mix of front- and side-loaded garages, plus a gracious front porch for every residence, the street comes alive with energy and life.  Every residence also has an outdoor patio or deck in an area that has been designed to allow maximum privacy.

The sixteen residences are located in eight buildings. The walls between the units have been designed to the highest quality to ensure the maximum separation and acoustical privacy.

The sixteen residences are a mix of four different designs, aptly named for the gracious trees Ash, Balsam, Cedar and Douglas Fir.  While each design has a unique layout and will appeal to different homeowners, every design has the following spaces:

· Open design of the main floor living room, kitchen and dining room

· Main floor master suite

· At least one additional bedroom and bath

· Upper floor loft area

· 2-car attached garage

· A full unfinished basement

The buildings are constructed of materials and methods that will ensure longevity and minimize maintenance.  All buildings are designed in the Tuscan style with unique roof lines, soaring arches and harmonic proportions, finished with stucco and natural stone.
