Custom Covered Patio & Entertainment Space

This project focused on creating a comfortable and highly functional outdoor living area that can be enjoyed throughout much of the year. The covered patio was designed as a true extension of the home, offering a place to cook, gather, and relax while taking advantage of the outdoors.

The structure features a warm tongue-and-groove wood ceiling with integrated skylights that bring natural light into the space while maintaining the protection of a covered roof. Thoughtful lighting was incorporated throughout the design, including accent lighting on the beams, concealed lighting beneath the built-in bench, and additional fixtures that allow the homeowners to create different moods in the evening.

Comfort was also a key consideration. Recessed overhead heaters help extend the usability of the space during cooler months, while a durable concrete floor provides a clean and low-maintenance surface for entertaining.

The patio also includes a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a striking double-sided fireplace. The fireplace can be enjoyed from within the covered patio or from the opposite side, creating a natural gathering point for both spaces.

The result is a versatile outdoor environment designed for cooking, entertaining, and relaxing — a space that allows the homeowners to enjoy the outdoors with the comfort and amenities of an indoor room.
